Grounding calls our energy back into our body (aka. centering ourselves) so we have access to the entirety of our resources to be focused and present. When we're fully able to be present we are calmer, have more clarity and our body has what it needs to deal with challenges. Grounding is the most important tool in the energy healing toolkit.

Here are two variations of the grounding skill that I teach clients and have used for thirteen years. I ground when I wake up, I ground before sleep and I am grounding myself constantly when I'm looking at my newsfeeds and reading social media. This skill is incredible to teach to children who naturally feel out of control even in the best of times. A perfect pre-bedtime ritual to calm and soothe before sleep.
